With three Majors and the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships to look forward to in 2019, and the total number of stops on the World Tour increasing to 52, the forthcoming year on the sand promises to be full of drama and excitement.

Action will take place across five continents, with 14 four-star, eight three-star, seven two-star and 19 one-star events in place with 19 new host cities ready to bring beach volleyball to fresh audiences.

As well as the World Championships, which will be organized by the Beach Majors Company, the 2019 calendar also includes the Under-21 World Championships in Thailand, plus the newly implemented Olympic Qualification Tournament, which will see two teams automatically qualify for Tokyo 2020.
