Joining the reigning Olympic champs are Karla Borger and Maggie Kozuch, who will be starting their second season as a team next year. It will be their first together as a team among the federation.

Last season’s Gstaad Major gold medalists Chantal Laboureur and Julia Sude are once again included, as are Victoria Bieneck and Isabel Schneider – who reached two semifinals and won bronze in Xiamen during the 2017 season.

On the men’s side of things, joining 2016 Olympians Markus Böckermann and Lars Flüggen and Philipp Arne Bergmann and Yannick Harms are two new partnerships.

The fourth team on the German roster for 2018 are rising stars Julius Thole, 20, and 22-year-old Clemens Wickler. Thole is a European Under-18 champion, while Wickler claimed the World Under-19 title.

We’re looking forward to seeing the familiar faces and the new constallations in action on the Beach Major Series in 2018! Good luck!
