Next year’s beach volleyball season is going to be crammed with tournaments giving fans all around the globe the opportunity to catch the world’s best athletes in action on the sand.

As it stands, a total of 39 international events have been confirmed in 2018 with goosebumps guaranteed in three five-star tournaments in Fort Lauderdale, Gstaad and Vienna, before the World Tour Finals brings the season to a dramatic finale.

In what will be a busy season for the galaxy of beach stars, the players competing will be jetting off in all directions with tournaments in every continent except Antarctica!

The first action of 2018 will be a four-star event in The Hague – which hosted the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2015 – before the Fort Lauderdale Major bursts onto the scene at the end of February.

A whole host of events, spanning Europe, Asia, South and North America and Australia, keep the athletes on their toes before the five-star action resumes in July. First up is our glorious Gstaad Major, aka the Major in the Mountains, before beach volleyball returns to Austria once more with the first ever Vienna Major.

The season draws to its exciting climax with a four-star event in Moscow in August, where the players will be aiming to secure vital ranking points for the end-of-season spectacular at the World Tour Finals.
