Stavanger Major Champions Antonelli/Juliana split after a missed qualification for the Olympics 2016.

After the missed chance of being qualified for the Olympic Games due to the immense competition from their own country, Brazilians Maria Elisa Antonelli and Juliana Felisberta Silva decided to go separate ways.

The split was executed in good terms for a sensible reason: new sporting challenges and to go an even more successful way to be the top in their own country and on top of the world. Both beach volleyball pros teamed up with other big names of the sport. Antonelli pairs up with Lili Maestrini and Juliana forms a team with Taiana Lima.

We wish both new teams great success and hopefully we will see them perform at the 2016 Swatch Major Series tournaments around the globe.
