National tours in Germany, Latvia, USA and Slovenia
The men will be on the spotlights in their national tours this weekend in Europe with single-gender tournaments taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, and Saulkrasti, Latvia. The Slovenian Championship in Kranj will also draw some eyeballs to the sport while the American AVP plays the second of its three-event season tournaments in Long Beach with both male and female teams in action.
Austrian Championships confirmed to Baden
The Austrian Championships, which are expected to be the highlight of the beach volleyball season in the country in 2020, will take place in Baden from August 28-30, one week after the double-gender one-star World Tour event in the city. The tournament will reunite the best teams in the country.
Dutch Tour reveals its calendar
After months of uncertainty, the Dutch Tour has its full calendar confirmed for the 2020 season. The season, which was opened with a one-day event in Zaanstad on July 1, will have six other tournaments in consecutive weeks between August 8 and September 13. The most anticipated of them is the Dutch Championship, which will take place in Scheveningen from August 21-23.
